Class Photo Album
We need photos (past and present) for the online class photo album. E-mail them to the Alumni Association and include a caption. Your photos will be posted within one week. (Note that these photo albums are currently not password protected, so anyone can view them. In the upcoming months, they will be protected so that only alumni can view them.)

Class News
New job? Great vacation? Just moved? Tell your classmates what is going on in your life. Send news to your class correspondent to be included in your class column in the University of Chicago Magazine. (Don’t forget to submit contact information updates to the Alumni Association.)

Class Reunion
The Class of 1981 celebrated its Landmark 25th Reunion at Alumni Weekend 2006, June 1-4, with nearly 60 classmates attending. (Our class received the award for the Largest Class Gift at Reunion!) Campus bustled with tours, exhibits, and performances all weekend long. Faculty led discussions on topics ranging from Plato and Shakespeare to Google and genetics.

On Friday night, we relaxed and caught up with each other at our reunion dinner held at the home of President and Mrs. Randel. The dinner was a gift from the University to our class. Following dinner, we headed over to Jimmy’s—still a popular student and neighborhood hangout.

On Saturday morning at Convocation, alumni who are leaders in their professions and communities were honored for their contributions to the University and to the world. Included among those honored were our classmates: Armand Alivisatos and Brady Dougan, both of whom received Professional Achievement Citations, and Geri Yoza and Miguel Arias, who were awarded Alumni Service Citations. After the Convocation ceremony, we celebrated at the festive University Picnic and attended lively lectures and discussions at the UnCommon Core. That evening we dined and danced at the lavish ChicaGO Party gala at the Ratner Athletics Center.

We’ll see you at our next reunion on campus June 2-5, 2011. In the meanwhile, make sure to check out activities in your region. To keep in touch with classmates and to find their most current information, go to the Alumni Directory.
