Currently he is involved in teaching mathematics (grades 10 & 11), co-chairing the mathematics department, and additional work in collaborations supporting teacher education and preparation. His expertise is in Mathematics education, secondary education, urban education, school reform, using data for instruction and school change.
Special Requirements: Willing and able to do some work in preparation for the internship, including reading, web research, unit and lesson planning, and, if possible, a classroom observation (in Chicago) before the externship.
